Photo Mask
A Photomask is an opaque plate with transparencies that allow light to shine through in a defined pattern. Lithographic Photomasks are typically transparent fused silica blanks covered with a pattern defined with a chrome metal-absorbing film.

We offer High Resolution Photomask Fabricated on Quartz, Sodalime, Emulsion, Film, and many special products. Our comprehensive range of products are all available with different resolutions and provide bespoke solutions for non-standard products.
Our Photomasks stability, density uniformity, and dimensional accuracy are tightly controlled environment.
Sub-Micron Resolution Chrome Photomasks
Ultra High Resolution Photomasks designed for applications requiring critical dimensions from <1.0µm with tolerance > 20nm, which requires precision, repeatability, thermal stability etc. Fabricated using high-resolution chrome-on-glass processes to ensure dimensional accuracy, uniformity, and edge sharpness. Suitable for advanced and demanding Semiconductor manufacturing, Flat-Panel Displays, Photonic and Optoelectronic Components, MEMS, PCB fabrication, Biomedical Devices (Microfluidic chips, Lab on a Chip testing sensors, etc), Metrology & Defect Inspection, and other Microfabrication Applications.
Our mask type is Low Reflective Chrome Oxide on Quartz (Fused Silica) Soda Lime Glass. These are very high resolution, easy to clean, and hard wearing. Soda Lime Glass is a very popular low cost alternative to quartz with high light transmission in the visible spectrum.
Quartz has a much lower thermal expansion, and a slightly higher light transmission rate. The chrome coating has a low reflective oxide coating on the top surface, but equally can also be supplied in High Reflective Chrome Oxide or Blue Oxide variants. We also offer different materials, special chrome coatings, various thickness plate etc.
Dithered (Greyscale) Mask
Dithered greyscale photomasks simulate varying grey levels using binary halftone patterns. Using advanced imaging techniques to create simulated grey levels for applications requiring variable light transmission and optical density control. These photo-tools are generated through halftone screening and dithered imaging, allowing for precise tonal variation. By using small pixel sizes and high-resolution laser photo plotting, dithering methods produce binary patterns that appear as smooth gradients to optical systems, making them suitable for optical components, micro-optics, scientific imaging, and lithographic exposure control. By patterning sub-resolution chrome pixels, these masks create the appearance of greyscale for optical or partial light transmission applications. Dithered greyscale photomasks are most economical compared to True Greyscale Photomasks. Key applications include Optical Calibration, Lens Simulation and controlled photoresist exposure. Performance depends on pixel size, system resolution, and material type.
Special Material Masks
We provide products with non standard materials and coatings, such as Aluminium, Gold, Black Chrome, Opal Glass, Borofloat etc., as per your requirements.
Emulsion Glass Masks
Emulsion on Soda Lime Glass surface means that this a delicate surface and this is usually a lower cost alternative to chrome, especially when large sheet sizes are required.
Film Photomasks
We provide High Resolution, Low Resolution and Large Format flexible film Photo-tools and provide the most comprehensive film with the best possible image quality and accuracy. Emulsion film photomasks provide a cost-effective solution for pattern transfer in applications where critical accuracy is not necessary but high resolution and fine feature definition are still required. These masks are produced on high-contrast, silver-halide emulsion-coated polyester film, offering optical density control, sharp edge quality, and fine line reproduction. They are suitable for screen printing, microfluidics, optical test patterns, and general photolithographic processes. Emulsion photomasks offer a flexible and rapid-turnaround option for applications requiring large-format capability and cost efficiency.
Machine Calibration Charts / Vision Calibration Charts
Chrome on glass machine vision calibration plates provide high-accuracy reference patterns for the alignment, calibration, and configuration of machine vision systems. These plates are typically manufactured with precisely defined dot patterns, grids, and feature arrays, ensuring sub-micron accuracy and repeatable measurement consistency. Fabricated on optical-grade glass substrates, they offer stable dimensional properties and sharp edge definition for optical system verification. Fully customized, these calibration plates are supplied with certified measurement data, making them suitable for metrology, optical testing, and industrial automation applications where precision and reliability are critical.
Imaged optical components, sometimes with intricate shapes, can be manufactured for industries that use Graticules, Reticles, Encoders, Apertures, Scales, Disks, Slides, Laser Ablation.... and the list is endless. We have a range of standard Test Targets and Micrometres that are with various patterns and for many varied applications. We also specialise in a custom manufacturing service starting at single units with specialised materials, shapes, patterns and coatings.
Resolution Targets
Our resolution test targets are widely used to measure the resolution of imaging and vision systems. The patterns are tightly controlled and very accurate, can be supplied with certificates of measurement, and are made by a Photolithographic process. By identifying the largest set of non-distinguishable lines, you can determine the resolving power of your vision system.
Large format film photo tools
Large format film photo-tools provide exceptional accuracy and consistency for applications requiring precision imaging on oversized substrates. We offer flatbed laser photoplotting with unmatched accuracy, eliminating the distortions commonly associated with drum-based systems. High resolutions up to 20,000 dpi allow for fine detail reproduction over large areas, making these photo-tools ideal for screen printing, large-scale circuit artwork, industrial stencils, and optical test patterns.
